Digital Sovereignty

The Problem

Big tech corporations control the digital infrastructure that billions depend on daily. They harvest personal data, manipulate information flows, and concentrate power in the hands of a few shareholders.

Our Position

We believe in digital sovereignty — the right of individuals and communities to control their own digital lives. This means:

  • Open-source infrastructure: Critical digital tools should be transparent and community-auditable
  • Data ownership: Your data belongs to you, not to corporations
  • Decentralization: No single entity should control the flow of information
  • Digital rights: Access to the internet and digital tools is a fundamental human right

What We Propose

  1. Support and develop open-source alternatives to proprietary platforms
  2. Advocate for strong data protection legislation
  3. Build decentralized communication and collaboration tools
  4. Educate communities about digital literacy and privacy
